The Opportunity
 

We are looking for a part-time Statewide Administration Officer, located at our Townsville Base. 

 

The Statewide Administration Officer is responsible for general office coordination and administrative support, for our LifeFlight Retrieval Medicine (LRM) entity. Your orgainsational skills will be an asset while you juggle multiple-priorities including, filing, data entry, minute taking, accepting deliveries, answering phone calls, sending and monitoring calendar invitation/bookings and coordination of state-wide meetings (MSTeams invites). Your attention to detail will come in handy while you generate reports to assist with the ongoing clinical and professional development support for our clinicians.

 

There is flexibility on offer, with this part-time position. We are looking for someone that is available for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and are open to the working hours being 8.30am - 2pm or 9am - 2.30pm.   

 

About You

 

With a keen interest in supporting a team, your administration experience will be coupled with the following skills and attributes:

  • A welcoming personality, excellent telephone manner, and polite, professional approach to all staff and visitors.
  • Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Outlook
  • Technological savvy and experience with MSTeams and video conferencing 
  • Multi-tasking and time-management which is second to none –you will be required to juggle tasks, deal with interruptions, manage requests, and still keep a smile on your face.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop professional relationships across all levels of the business.
  • A quick learner who is capable of picking up new processes and systems thoroughly and accurately.
  • High-level written and verbal communication is an important aspect of the role. You will need to correspond and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in solidarity. 
  • A person that has a passion for keeping people safe and will be comfortable being a Fire Warden for the Townsville Jet Base.
