About the Role

The continued airworthiness of our aircraft requires unique skills and experience, and we are now seeking to appoint a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (L.A.M.E) to join our VICPOL program.

 

This is a permanent position operating on a shift roster out of Essendon in Victoria.

 

About You
In support of our strong safety culture minimum qualifications and experience limitations for positions will apply.

 

As a qualified B1.3 LAME, type rated on AW139, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in maintaining the upmost highest CASA and company quality standards.

 

With a strong background in engineering rotary flight operations and a comprehensive understanding of civil aviation regulations, you will be a team player who is highly organized, with advanced troubleshooting skills and outstanding communication skills.

StarFlight Victoria was established specifically to fulfil the objectives of the Victoria Police Aircraft Capability Program by providing a comprehensive solution to assist Victoria Police in keeping Victorians safe. StarFlight Victoria delivers an enduring capability and a locally managed and wholly integrated service delivery framework that meets the needs of the Victoria Police (VICPOL) into the future.   

StarFlight Victoria is a consortium providing proven expertise in acquisition, transition and phase-in, operations and sustainment of services. The consortium partners include LifeFlight Commercial (part of LifeFlight Australia Limited) and Fox Aviation Holdings.
